Three Steps to Get your Driving Privilege Back
If your Missouri driving privilege have been suspended or revoked, you know what a hassle it is, especially getting to your job every day. It's time to call me, Chris Dulle, at Hocking & Dulle, LLC. I have years of experience with hundreds of traffic violation cases, including license suspension and license revocation, and I can help you get your license back.
First step: your driving record
I will go back over your entire driving record and determine why your license was suspended or revoked. Your latest offense is included in the letter you received from the Driver's License Bureau when they took your driving privileges away. But there may perhaps be more offenses that led up to it - offenses that are still on your record, plus traffic tickets you failed to pay or a court appearance you forgot about.
For point deductions, here's how license suspension works: If you accumulate 8 points in 18 months, you lose your license for 30 days for the first suspension, 60 days for the second, 90 days for the third suspension. If you accumulate 12 points in 12 months, 18 points in 24 months or 24 points in 36 months, you lose your driving privileges for one year.
Sometimes you can pay a fine and file a form to clear a violation from your record. I can do this for you or simply tell you how to do it yourself. If your record is cleared, your license can be reinstated.
If not, I can negotiate or plead each offense on your driving record, possibly get your penalties reduced, and let you know how to take action to fix these underlying issues.
